Pros and cons of Sproggiwood app for iPhone and iPad

Sproggiwood app good for

Obviously the developers put lots of love into this game and it shows through the great art, funny story, and fun gameplay! I also like how cute everything is. Controller support is a plus (however I found touch controls were more intuitive), even allowing players to edit what each button does. Small bug that doesnt affect playability where LT and RT button labels are mixed up.
An addictive roguelike, and hands down one of the best games on the App Store!
This is by far the best game I have purchased on my iPad in a long while. For that alone it deserves 5 stars! It is crazy fun! I have had a hard time putting it down and I honestly have never said that about a game before! Im playing it with high bass headphones and even the sound I find to be amazing! The only problem I have run into is a double click issue. When I click to leave settings it often double clicks and puts me right back into settings. I have the same issue after selecting a class. Instead of letting me select my equipment, I am immediately jumped into the game. Annoying but not game breaking by any means. I wish there was a little more to the city part of the game. For instance when purchasing your first civic boost I was disappointed to see it doesnt unlock a unique building. That, along with visually upgrading the building upon upgrading the boost, would have been awesome! As it stands theres really no reason to ever do anything with your city... That I have thus far figured out anyhow. To wrap things up... If you are remotely interested in this game, I say, buy it! You probably wont regret it.
Seriously, if you have any interest in dungeon crawlers, do not miss this game. Its turn based and rogue-like, but with persistent improvement even when you die. Great art style, cheese humor and perfect gameplay, this game is a gem on the appstore. Just cant believe I didnt buy this sooner.
This game is awesome. Terrific music, graphics, and gameplay highlight this outstanding rougue-like. Three levels of difficulty let anyone play and have fun. The power-ups make every dungeon a new and different experience. Once you discover a power up in a dungeon it then can be purchased in your local shop. Each dungeon can be beaten using various heroes which opens up a huge amount of gameplay variety. Absolutely phenomenal.
This is a great rogue-like. There are permanent perks and weapons you can buy that last between levels and buffs and events of strategic advantage that can only be found in shrines at each level. The levels are procedurally generated, so in theory you could play indefinitely. To me, it was the right mix of replayability with progress toward an endgame. There is a little bump in difficulty around level 4 and again at the final level, level 10, but overall it was very accessible on normal difficulty. The six different classes are unique enough that I went through the whole game with each. Sometimes the levels were just a bit longer than I find ideal for a mobile game, but that is a more personal issue. But it is not a battery drainer!

Some bad moments

The type that makes you want to smash your phone against the wall. Could a game be any more impossibly difficult than this?
I played this game for around 30 hours on my PC through steam. This was an instant purchase for me excited to have Sproggiwood on the go!
Ive been waiting for this to come out. Ive already put in about 10 minutes and I absolutely love this!!! Everything is just top notch! I look forward to spend many hours playing this!
My new favorite game. This is a dungeon crawling town building adventure with several difficulties, a variety of character classes, tons of extras and the enemys are so cute theyre a little hard to kill. the best part? All of that is for one price. No IAP! Major kudos to the developers more game devs should take a cue from you guys.
Brilliant interface, especially when using swipe controls. It is so intuitive to figure out and easy to maneuver and use the special actions. Beautiful game. Difficulty is perfect. If you die it is usually your fault, at least for the four levels I have done so far. Really fun items that make each game so different. This came out of nowhere for me and I am so happy I stumbled across it. Instabuy for rogue-like fans.
If you never play roguelike you should play this it’s got roguelike elements but not very punishing Graphic Is great I hope the dev update it to switch the control to the left of the screen
